1995-1996

With the departure of Drew Cremisio, Mark Hensler becomes assistant director, and Bob Gray becomes the principal cornet. Entering a competition for the first time at NABBA XIV hosted by the Brass Band of Columbus in Dublin, OH, the CBB wins first place in the Challenge section. The competition pieces are Chorale and Toccata (Stephen Bulla) and Celtic Suite (Philip Sparke). Other concerts were held at the Pendleton County Fine Arts Festival, Falmouth, KY, a Salvation Army Benefit at Montgomery Baptist Church, Landmark Baptist Church, Shane Hayes Fund Benefit at Lemon Monroe HS and the Stanbury Park Ice Cream Social.
